finish, save it in your computer. Then, copy and paste or upload it
back to the server.
- We use Open
Office at school. Open Office can read any files created by MS Office, but
MS Office can't read file in Open Office format. To enable the students to
continue working with MS Office at home, please make sure that
the file is saved appropriately by choosing File > Save As > and choose
Word 97/2000/XP (.doc)
Excel 97/2000/XP (.xls)
PowerPoint 97/2000/XP (.ppt)
- The default Open
Office file formats are .odt (Word), .ods (Excel) and .odp
(PowerPoint) which can't be read in MS Office unless you save it as the
above mentioned formats
- It is suggested to
install Open Office package in your computer at home. This file is not big, only
about 80 mb and won't cause any change to your
computer, but may help if students forget to save files as the proper
format. Please see Dr.Puk in Secondary School building, Room D316. if
you need the programme.
